Dafydd is an extremely proficient case manager and qualified independent social worker, specialising in case management and medicolegal work. He has over 20 years of experience as a social worker and senior social worker in local authority settings. He has extensive knowledge and experience in brain injury, physical disability, mental health and dementia care within hospitals and community environments.

Dafydd is a qualified Best Interest Assessor. He has also been instrumental in the development and implementation of a range of mental health policies and initiatives and is an approved mental health professional, warranted to complete assessments under the Mental Health Act 1983, routinely working collaboratively with a range of specialist mental health professionals. Dafydd has supervisory experience through the management of a range of health and social care professionals, providing complex assessments, care planning, service delivery, and review of clients within a community mental health team environment.

Dafydd approaches his clients in a holistic and empathetic manner. Effective organisational and interpersonal communication skills allow him to build essential trust and good working relationships with his clients, their families and carers. His outstanding qualities in this area, coupled with his excellent supervisory and prioritisation capabilities help create excellent environments for successful working with multidisciplinary teams and service providers, in turn ensuring the best possible foundation for success. Dafydd is thorough and methodical when carrying out assessments, and provides prompt and comprehensive reports.

Dafydd is a first language Welsh speaker.
