After a long year+ of lockdown, online meetings and events, the Professional Deputies Forum is excited to be hosting an in-person event.

This will be one of the first opportunities to meet up with fellow Deputies, Associates and other professionals in the COP world, in person! Stokes Case Management is delighted to confirm it will join the Forum as an exhibitor and we look forward to seeing you on the day.

Stokes will have a stand filled with goodies so please pop by to catch up and grab yours!

Tomorrow’s Deputy: Where are we going?

A positive look at the future of Court of Protection Work.

The Mental Capacity Act has been in force for 14 years now and Court of Protection practice has greatly evolved in that time. Can we foresee what the future holds for the professional Deputy?

We will spend the day hearing about the future of court of protection practice from all aspects, what we have learnt so far and what is yet to come.

Confirmed Speakers

  • Her Honour Judge Hilder, Senior Judge of the Court of Protection
  • Nick Goodwin, Chief Executive and Public Guardian, OPG
  • Costs Judge James, Senior Judge, SCCO
  • Peter Wright, Digital Law UK
  • Gail Bedding, Parent/Carer and Consultant for Contact

The day also includes refreshments and a long break over lunch to provide plenty of opportunities for networking as well as meeting the exhibitors.
