Case Manager & CMA
Heather has over seven years’ worth of experience working in case management. She has experience in working with clients with various medical conditions such as acquired brain injury, spinal injury and stroke.
Heather specialises in working with clients who require support with their mental health and in providing encouragement for them to work towards their goals. She is passionate about following a person-centred approach with each of her clients and strives to encourage independence through drawing together highly experienced and dedicated multidisciplinary teams for them to work with. Heather has completed a course in Cognitive Behavioural Essentials and employs learned techniques in her everyday work to help her clients with their decision making throughout the rehabilitation process.
Heather has a wealth of experience as a Mental Health Support Worker and this, alongside her experience as an Anti-Social Behavioural Officer for a local authority has given her extensive knowledge of policies and processes relating to local and national community issues. Heather completed an Advanced BTEC award in case working in this field and has specialised in conflict management and mediation between clients, preparing documents, providing evidence and standing up in court.
Heather is passionate about supporting the development of clients with disabilities. She has exceptional interpersonal skills which have earned her credibility, trust and respect when working with the police, solicitors, complainants, perpetrators, family members and many other crucial community support services.
Heather is experienced and skilled in managing projects and administering detailed cases to the very highest standard to ensure credibility within a court of law. Her attention to detail, extreme sensitivity and empathy as well as problem solving skills and critical decision-making experience helps in providing a bespoke and first-class service to her clients.
