Susannah has been a case manager since 2003, bringing 40 years of experience and skills as a paediatric occupational therapist, to her role.  

Susannah has experience working with children and young people who have complex needs, and lifelong disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism, acquired brain injury, various syndromes, and endocrine disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings, including domestic homes, children’s homes, hospitals, and educational settings.  

Susannah has extensive experience of carrying out Initial Needs Assessments, including assessing the needs of children who have been diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum, or who were likely to receive such a diagnosis. Alongside previously attending court as a witness of fact, Susannah has prepared Court compliant reports for Civil Litigation, which required the assessment of children and young adults, and reporting on their care and occupational therapy needs.  

Susannah is a hardworking and highly motivated professional, who aims to achieve the best outcomes for her clients by adopting a holistic approach to case management. Her exceptional organisational skills, combined with her effectiveness as a communicator, allows her to develop trusted relationships with the children, young people, and families, that she works with. Susannah has recruited professionals and care staff for clients, as well as coordinated entire multi-disciplinary teams confidently. Alongside this, she has experience offering expert advice on housing & environmental adaptations, and equipment.  

Susannah spent the years 1985 to 2002 based in Cairo, Egypt, working on projects related to children with disabilities, and as thus has a good understanding of conversational Arabic. She also has a limited understanding of spoken and written French.
