Stokes Case Management are proud to have been registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales and the Care Quality Commission England since 2020, and have recently undergone our first inspections for both commissions.

After a tremendous amount of teamwork over the past few years, including tackling obstacles such as the Covid-19 pandemic, we are happy to report the results of our recent CIW and CQC investigation.

We have received a positive report from the CIW which we are incredibly happy about, with the investigator noting that,

“Clients benefit from well trained and well supported staff identifying and arranging provision of their individual care and support to aid their rehabilitation and develop their skills and interests.”

We have also received a ‘Good’ in all Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE’s), Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led, result from the CQC. In the report, it is noted that,

“the service [is] consistently managed and well-led. Leaders and the culture they created promoted high-quality, person-centred care.”

Responding to the inspection results, Clinical Director and Registered Manager for Stokes Case Management in Wales, Jo Ali, said:

“Following our successful registration with both Care Inspectorate Wales and the Care Quality Commission in England, we were very please to have our first inspections this year! Our CIW inspection took place in February this year and our CQC inspection in July.

Given the past couple of years and the issues faced by Stokes and other support providers, our team worked hard to make sure we prioritised the ongoing support to our clients and their families, as well as ensuring the quality of our service provision was maintained. Alongside this, the Registered Managers worked tirelessly to prepare for Stokes imminent first inspections.

We are pleased, and proud, to say that as a team our work has been recognised by the CIW and CQC.

We are now focusing on raising our next inspection ratings from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding,’ with the ‘We can do’ Stokes approach!”

Registered Manager for England, for Stokes Case Management in England, Julie Fox, added:

“This was our first inspection as an organisation, and for me as a Registered Manager and I am thrilled that we achieved Good in all areas. I have learnt so much from the inspection process and the inspection report highlighted areas that we have already identified to improve.

The inspection has given us a great opportunity to reflect on all the good work we as an organisation and team are achieving, and motivation to continue to work hard to improve the quality of care and support already delivered to our clients and families, an area we are whole heartedly committed to.”

We would like to thank our entire team for their hard work and dedication which has made these results happen, and endeavor to achieve an ‘outstanding’ result in our next inspections.
